We only came in for coffee, which pleased the drinker, but I of course noticed how cute and cozy the place was; would not suggest for big groups, but for a quiet couple or a moment alone, yes.

If you're ever in downtown Saint Pete, make sure to check out the charming Sorrento Sweets! This cozy little coffee and pastry shop is a true gem. The spinach and feta croissant was perfectly flaky with a flavorful filling that hit all the right notes. We also got to try a sample of their vegan quiche, which was so delicious that I genuinely wouldn't have guessed it was vegan if I hadn't been told! The balance of flavors and texture was spot on. The staff here are incredible--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. Whether you're craving a pastry or just need a good coffee, this is a spot I'd wholeheartedly recommend. It's a must-visit for locals and tourists alike!

Stopped in for a quick to go coffee and ordered an iced peppermint mocha. The barista, a younger blonde girl (sorry I didn't catch her name) was so sweet and helpful! They are very cutely decorated for the holidays and I am excited to stop back in and read or work in here.

We actually came in because we were dining next door at the Lure and my husband wanted cold brew or cappucciactaIt was great that Sorrento Sweets has late hours and they were open because he was abke to just walk over there and get his cold brew. They unfortunately don't have a lot of gluten-free items. In fact, there were only two and they were pre-pakaged unlike all the other delicious fresh items they sale; that was very dissappinting for me because I have Celiacs. Staff was very nice though, the store is very nice and cute and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend it! The desserts do like delicious!

Was downtown with a friend at Morean Art by Chihuly and wanted an afternoon treat. Did not realize they closed at 4pm, not all days but some weekdays (Tues). Staff was kind though and we sat inside, it was pretty hot with no good air system. All sorts of desserts to pick from. They fill cannolis as ordered. If you need/want an assortment to pick from this is your spot! Enjoy

They have a lot of desserts, even one vegan. We ordered an afogato, with decaf and unfortunately they didn't have chocolate ice cream. The cheesecake was ok.

Was up in St Pete for part of the day to meet up with my sister-in-law. We were enjoying the different shops, finishing up lunch when she commented she felt like dessert. I remember during the early years of my marriage that they ate dessert immediately after their meal and I don't need any arm-twisting to get me to want something sweet. My Honey was stuffed from his burger and didn't want anything, and I had a salad which still would not have been a factor, except there was no reason why I was limited to gluten free or dairy free so we went roaming to find what met my SIL craving. We stopped at various places, chocolate, donuts, ice cream, etc. . But this one caught our eye (and mouth and belly). The top display case had the Cannoli which definitely made me think of my middle daughter and her love of sweets. Yet I also felt like having a bit more solid than cream since Cannoli here had two different types and I wasn't sure. Now my sister, after having us look at so many places simply wanted just a bite of cake and bought the Red Velvet Espresso Cake Cup . . The cake cup size are smart to limit the amount of calories and yet satisfy the sweet tooth craving. Since I had just baked strawberry thumbprint cookies and banana walnut bread the day before for Honey, I wanted something that I would eat and my body would probably freak out on. As I was fogging the display case (no, I did not do that . . .there's still a virus going around) with the multitude of options, Honey whispered sweet something into my ear "you can always get another one and have it for tomorrow". There were two employees working behind the counter. I asked what was the difference between the Lobster Tail French cream and the Cannoli cream . . He let me taste a sample between the creams. One is sweeter than the other, plus more ricotta cheese ish. He also shared the story about the cream . . It's a recipe that Italian Sal created for this baking business. I did end up buying both . . . And when he said these are big and hard to finish a whole one in a day, I was then thinking, shoot, I should only get one but faced the challenge of which one. When on vacation, it's important to stay relaxed and enjoy life. I bought a Napoleon and a Lobster Tail ( Cannoli cream). Both very delicious.
